Seal's House: Nothing Heals the Heart Like Dropping $6 Million on a Mansion

Random Celebrity Article By on December 17, 2012

Seal made a massive name for himself in the early 90s, winning multiple music awards in Britain, and making waves in the United States, with the release of his first album, "Seal".  HIs ballads were a funky musical mixture that existed at the intersection of pop, R&B, and soul, and managed to have a sound that was instantly recognizable as his alone.  Soundtrack hits, such as "Kissed From a Rose", further cemented his superstar status.  With multiple Grammy wins, Platinum and Gold selling albums, and a handful of Top 10 hits, the only thing the notoriously shy rockstar needed, was an equally high-profile partner.  When he married supermodel and successful entrepreneur/producer, Heidi Klum, it seemed like the ultimate match.  Earlier this year, the pair announced that they were separating after seven years of marriage.  The news was meant with genuine surprise by just about everyone.  They had long been considered one of Hollywood's stronger "power couples".  Both halves of the couple have seemingly moved on.  When you are wealthy and successful, "moving on" means selling, or buying, property.  Seal has recently done the latter.

Seal's house is a 5,500 square foot mansion in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.  He made an offer on the $6 million mansion after spending a week of visiting the property multiple times, and getting to know the neighborhood.  The four bedroom, five and half bath house is three stories tall.  Seal's house also features a media room, a private gym, and two kitchens.  In addition to the many rooms, Seal's house also has floor-to-ceiling windows, a beautifully landscaped backyard, and runs on green energy.  His new place is a hop-skip-and a jump from the home he shared with his ex-wife, Heidi Klum, so it's safe to say that its appeal may stem less from the gorgeous design, and more from its proximity to his family.
