As the "Twilight" franchise comes to a close, everyone is wondering how the stars of the series of films will do in the future. Will they have careers after the roles that made them famous like Harrison Ford post-"Star Wars" or Michael J. Fox post-"Back to the Future"? Or will they largely disappear from the spotlight like Mark Hamill after "Star Wars". or Macauley Culkin after "Home Alone"? Though questions swirl for many cast members, there is one member of the cast who is clearly sitting pretty. Anna Kendrick, who appeared in the films as Jessica, one of Bella's classmates, was already a Tony-nominated child actress when she signed on to appear in the franchise. In between the first two "Twilight" films, she managed to shoot five other projects, including "Up In the Air". Her performance opposite George Clooney in that project, earned the then 24-year old an Oscar nomination. Since then, she has gone on to appear in a number of both critically and commercially successful projects, including "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World", "50/50", "What to Expect When You're Expecting", "End of Watch", and the recent hit comedy, "Pitch Perfect". There are no signs of her career slowing down, and unlike many of her "Twilight" cast mates, it is very obvious that the "Twilight" franchise will most likely go down as simply another credit on an increasingly impressive resume. Earlier this year, in light of all of her success, the actress bought her first home in Los Angeles.
Anna Kendrick's house in the Hollywood Hills is made up of three bedrooms and three and half bathrooms spread out over two stories. She purchased the home for $1,020,000 in the early spring. The home features beautiful hardwood floors, French doors, a sizable open plan living area, and an eat-in kitchen with all new appliances. Anna Kendrick's house also sports a two-car garage with a loft living area, a large patio, a balcony off of the master suite, and a small covered outdoor area with its own fireplace. The bedrooms have skylights and walk-in closets, and there is a fireplace in the living room, as well. Anna Kendrick's house is modest by Hollywood standards, but the actress may be playing it safe. She has only recently made the move from the East Coast to the West, so it may take a few years for her taste in housing to catch up to her level of stardom.
