Radio personality, comedian, actor and writer Artie Lange has a net worth of $12 million and an annual salary $2 million. Born and raised in New Jersey, Lange and Howard Stern's paths first crossed in 1987 when Stern was the singular celebrity to donate an item for an auction to help raise money for Lange's father's medical bills. Despite obtaining an education from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Lange became a longshoreman until his interest in stand-up comedy led him to quit and pursue a career in comedy. Lange's big break came in 1995 with MADtv, a six time Emmy award-winning sketch comedy show that aired on FOX. An original cast member, Lange would appear for another season and multiple guest appearances throughout the show's fourteen season run. Lange went on to co-star in the film Dirty Work, which led Lange to a recurring role with costar Norm MacDonald on The Norm Show. During this time, Lange made a number of appearances on The Howard Stern Show until he took over full-time following the departure of head show writer Jackie Martling. Too Fat to Fish, Lange's autobiographical collective, debuted at number one on the New York Times bestseller list. Lange also released Jack and Coke, a CD of his stand-up. Among Lange's film and television credits are appearances in Rescue Me, Entourage, Old School, Mystery Men and Artie Lange's Beer League, which was also written and produced by Lange.
