He is also the Chairman and a minority shareholder of Cirque du Soleil. He has successfully led companies on the Nasdaq, Toronto, and London stock exchanges, and Chairs a number of important philanthropic efforts. Born in Canada, Mitch Garber graduated from McGill University, and then earned his law degree from the University of Ottawa. He worked as a lawyer specializing in gaming law for the next ten years, and was also a sportscaster in Montreal. He was a Senior Executive at Terra Payments Inc. until 2003, and then became the Chief Executive Officer of Optimal Payments, Inc. He left Optimal to become the CEO of PartyGaming Plc., a very successful online entertainment company. In 2009, he became the CEO and President of Caesers Interactive Entertainment, part of the Caesars Entertainment Corporation. In 2013 he became CEO of Nasdaq listed Caesars Acquisition Co. He is in charge of the World Series of Poker, all of the social, mobile and real money interactive assets of Caesars, as well as land-based hotel/casino assets including Planet Hollywood, Bally's, The Cromwell, Harrah's New Orleans, The Quad, and the Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore.
