Though encouraged to pursue art by his teachers at school, he chose to focus on a career in finance and entrepreneurship, and moved to London to launch his career. After working in business for 15 years, he decided to return to art, and began selling his paintings to family and friends. Word of his excellent work spread, and he began selling to art collectors as well.
In 2013, he had his first solo show in Sweden. All of the works displayed were sold that evening. He then had his first gallery opening in New York, where again, he sold every piece. He is the husband of Fredrik Eklund, one of the stars of the reality series, "Million Dollar Listing New York". The couple lives in Manhattan.
