In order to start his own company, Lo borrowed a huge amount of money from his father, a real estate baron, when he came home after his graduation of the University of New South Wales, Australia, in 1969. Lo gained the first cement plant in Changqing, in 1995, and this made his company one of the China's top three cement companies.
