What is Junior H's Net Worth?
Junior H is a Mexican singer and songwriter who has a net worth of $20 million. Junior H emerged as one of the defining artists of the corridos tumbados movement by bringing an unusually vulnerable and melancholy perspective to regional Mexican music. While many of his contemporaries focused on wealth, street life, and bravado, Junior built his audience with songs about loneliness, romantic disappointment, anxiety, and emotional isolation.
Junior H began recording music as a teenager after his family moved from Mexico to Utah. He uploaded his songs online while working in restaurants and initially treated music as a hobby. The viral growth of "No Eh Cambiado" attracted Rancho Humilde founder Jimmy Humilde, who signed him and connected him with Natanael Cano.
Albums including "Atrapado en un Sueño," "$ad Boyz 4 Life," "Mi Vida en un Cigarro 2," and "$ad Boyz 4 Life II" turned Junior H into a major streaming and touring artist. He has sold out arenas and stadium dates across the United States and Mexico, headlined Foro Sol in Mexico City, performed at Coachella, and became the youngest male performer to sell out consecutive headline shows at the Hollywood Bowl.
Early Life
Junior H was born Antonio Herrera Pérez on April 23, 2001, in Cerano, Guanajuato, Mexico. He grew up listening to the corridos and romantic ballads favored by his parents and grandparents, including music by Luis Miguel and Pepe Aguilar.
Herrera began writing lyrics with a friend when he was around 12 years old. He later learned guitar, accordion, and other aspects of music production through online tutorials.
At the age of 15, he moved with his family to Utah. Adjusting to an English-speaking environment exposed him to additional styles of music, including rap, trap, rock, and pop. He worked in restaurants while recording songs on his own equipment.
A friend uploaded one of those recordings, "No Eh Cambiado," to YouTube. Herrera initially forgot about the song, but it began accumulating views. Encouraged by the response, he released more music and adopted the stage name Junior H.
Discovery and "Atrapado en un Sueño"
Junior H independently released his first album, "Mi Vida en un Cigarro," in 2019. The project and the growing popularity of "No Eh Cambiado" attracted Jimmy Humilde, who invited Herrera to discuss joining Rancho Humilde.
After signing, Junior H appeared on Natanael Cano's "Corridos Tumbados." His performances on songs including "Ella" and "Disfruto lo Malo" introduced his restrained vocal style to a much larger audience.
In 2020, Junior released "Atrapado en un Sueño," his first album through Rancho Humilde. The album reached the top five of Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart while he was still a teenager. Its success established him as more than a supporting figure in Cano's movement.
Junior released two additional albums later that year: "Cruisin' with Junior H" and "Música <3." The projects demonstrated the speed at which he could write and record while separating his introspective style from the harder corridos associated with other Rancho Humilde artists.
The Sad Boyz Movement
Junior H released "$ad Boyz 4 Life" in 2021. The album formalized the identity he had been building around heartbreak, emotional distance, and young men who were more comfortable expressing sadness through music than in daily life.
His audience began referring to itself as the Sad Boyz. The concept developed into both a musical brand and a community, with Junior's lyrics drawing comparisons to emo and alternative rock even though the songs remained rooted in Mexican instrumentation.
In 2022, "Mi Vida en un Cigarro 2" became his third number-one album on Billboard's Regional Mexican Albums chart. The album included "Los Botones Azules," a collaboration with Luis R. Conriquez, as well as "Empresa Fly Club" and "Extssy Model."
Junior experimented with pop, rock, and urban sounds on "Contingente," which included collaborations with Paloma Mami, Snow Tha Product, and Big Soto.
"$ad Boyz 4 Life II"
Junior H released "$ad Boyz 4 Life II" in 2023. Unlike many high-profile Latin albums, the project contained no guest performers. It debuted at number 14 on the Billboard 200, his highest position on the overall American albums chart.
The album included "$ad Boyz II," "Rockstar," "La Cherry," "Serpiente," and "Mientras Duermes." Its mixture of urban sierreño, romantic music, rock, and ranchera expanded the Sad Boyz sound without abandoning the understated delivery that made Junior recognizable.
He also appeared on several major collaborations. "Luna," with Peso Pluma, reached the Billboard Hot 100, while "Lady Gaga," recorded with Peso Pluma and Gabito Ballesteros, became one of the defining música mexicana hits of its period. Other collaborators have included Rauw Alejandro, Rels B, Tito Double P, Natanael Cano, and Óscar Maydon.
Touring Success
Touring became Junior H's largest visible business. His reported headline concerts grossed more than $23 million in 2023 from over 221,000 tickets. His Mexico City performance at Foro Sol grossed more than $4 million from nearly 59,000 attendees.
His 2024 tour sold more than 375,000 tickets in the United States. Two sold-out performances at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles grossed nearly $6.8 million from more than 43,000 tickets.
Junior expanded further with the "$ad Boyz Live & Broken Tour" in 2025. Before its final Los Angeles dates, the tour had grossed nearly $37 million and sold more than 323,000 tickets. He concluded the run with two sold-out performances at the Hollywood Bowl, becoming the venue's youngest male artist to headline consecutive sold-out nights.
Merchandise and Business Ventures
Junior extended the Sad Boyz identity into a streetwear company called Sad Boyz Clothing. Its early collections sold out quickly and included separate clothing lines for men and women.
He also partnered with New Era on a limited-edition hat collection. Proceeds benefited the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, reflecting Junior's connection to immigrant communities and his own experience moving to the United States as a teenager.
Junior's income comes from touring, streaming, recording royalties, publishing, merchandise, sponsorships, and his arrangements with Rancho Humilde and Warner Music Latina.
