What is Gavin Adcock's Net Worth?

Gavin Adcock is an American country music singer-songwriter who has a net worth of $4 million. Gavin Adcock independently released his first studio album, "Bonfire Blackout," in 2023, followed by the major-label albums "Actin' Up Again" in 2024 and "Own Worst Enemy" in 2025. The lattermost album peaked at number 14 on the Billboard 200 and number four on the Top Country Albums chart.

Early Life and Education

Gavin Adcock was born on October 9, 1998 in Athens, Georgia and was raised on his family's cattle farm in Watkinsville. In that town, he attended Oconee County High School, where he played as a defensive end and offensive guard on the football team and twice earned All-Region honors. Adcock continued his football career at Georgia Southern University as a nose tackle for the Eagles. However, he was suspended and removed from the team after a video went viral showing him chugging a beer just before a game.

Music Career

Adcock began writing songs while he was in high school. After suffering a career-ending knee injury during spring football in 2021, he shifted his attention fully to music and released his first single, "Ain't No Cure." Adcock followed that with the singles "Rowdy Southern Saturday" and "Thrivin Here." All of these singles were included on his debut EP, "Thrivin Here," which came out in early 2022. In the spring of 2023, Adcock released his debut studio album, "Bonfire Blackout," which included such further singles as "Love to the Grave," "Goin' Gone," and "Deep End," the last of which was certified Gold by the RIAA. Adcock released several non-album singles in 2023, as well, including "Down Town Down," "Tore Me Up," and "Make Me Quit."

After signing with Warner Nashville, Adcock released his second studio album and major-label debut, "Actin' Up Again," in the summer of 2024. It became his first to chart on the Billboard 200, reaching number 82; it also peaked at number 19 on the Top Country Albums chart. The album featured a number of successful singles, including "Four Leaf Clover," "Run Your Mouth," and "A Cigarette," the last of which racked up over 150 million streams. Adcock embarked on his first headlining tour, the Actin' Up Again Tour, in support of the album.

Adcock went on his second headlining tour, the Need to Tour, in 2025. He also opened for Morgan Wallen's I'm the Problem Tour. In August, Adcock released his third studio album, "Own Worst Enemy." Supported by several singles, including "Need To," "Never Call Again," "Unlucky Strikes," "Loose Strings," and "Last One to Know," the album made it to number 14 on the Billboard 200 and number four on the Top Country Albums chart, becoming Adcock's highest-charting release yet. "Own Worst Enemy" also charted in Canada and Australia. Its best-charting single was "Last One to Know," which peaked at number 17 on the Hot Country Songs chart.

Arrests

In 2023, Adcock was arrested for driving on a suspended license. Later, in the spring of 2025, he was arrested in Wilson County, Tennessee for reckless driving and possessing an open container of alcohol. Adcock was ultimately released on a $1,000 bond.

Controversial Beyoncé Comment

In mid-2025, Adcock generated controversy when he criticized singer-songwriter Beyoncé during a concert for her album "Cowboy Carter." Reacting to the fact that the album topped the country charts, he scoffed that the album "ain't country music" and argued that lifelong country music artists should not have to compete with pop singers. Beyoncé did not offer a public response.
