What Is The Game's Net Worth?
The Game is an American rapper, producer, and actor who has a net worth of $5 million. The Game (born Jayceon Terrell Taylor) emerged as a pivotal figure in West Coast hip-hop in the early 2000s. Discovered by Dr. Dre, he signed to Aftermath Entertainment and released his multi-platinum debut album "The Documentary" (2005), which featured hits like "How We Do" and "Hate It or Love It." His first two albums went multi-platinum or gold, and his first four albums reached #1 on multiple charts, including the US R&B and Rap charts. He has also enjoyed a moderately successful acting career, appearing in the films "Waist Deep" and "Street Kings," among other projects, and starring on his own VH1 reality show, "Marrying the Game."
His career has been marked by both commercial success and controversy. After a public falling out with 50 Cent and G-Unit, he established himself as a solo artist with albums like "Doctor's Advocate" (2006) and "LAX" (2008). His discography includes nearly a dozen studio albums spanning two decades, with his most recent full-length being "Drillmatic – Heart vs. Mind" (2022).
Beyond music, The Game has been known for high-profile feuds with various rappers, his association with the Bloods gang, and his outspoken nature. He's collaborated with numerous artists, including Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Kendrick Lamar.
Despite legal troubles and industry conflicts, The Game has maintained relevance as a respected lyricist with strong storytelling abilities and West Coast authenticity. His impact on bringing Los Angeles back to hip-hop prominence in the 2000s remains a significant part of his legacy.
Legal & Financial Issues
The Game, along with Snoop Dogg and Tha Dogg Pound, were sued for an alleged assault on a fan on stage at a 2005 concert. The accuser claimed he was beaten by the rappers' entourage while he was attempting to mount the stage. Later that year, Game was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct at a mall in North Carolina. In 2007, Game was arrested in connection with an incident at a basketball game in South Los Angeles where he was alleged to have threatened a person with a gun. He pleaded no contest to a felony weapons charge and was sentenced to 60 days in jail, community service, and three years of probation. The Game was refused entry to Canada in 2011 for alleged gang ties.
In March 2015, The Game was playing in a basketball game when he punched an off-duty police officer, named Onyebuchi Awaji, in the face. According to sources close to the rapper, Awaji started the confrontation by throwing an elbow at the rapper, who then threw an elbow right back at him. That's when things reportedly got a lot more serious. According to the sources, Awaji threatened Game by saying that he "got that thing" in his gym bag, most likely meaning a firearm.
That's when all bets were off. According to Game, Awaji raised his fist first, to which Game replied by landing a right hook on Awaji's face. The only issue with Game's account is that the video evidence does not appear to back up his claim of Awaji raising his fist. The video seemed to show the rapper walking up on Awaji, who has a ball in his hands, and punching the rookie cop square in the face.
Awaji proceeded to file a lawsuit against the rapper, in which he claims that the punch may have caused brain damage. The lawsuit also claimed that the rapper fled the scene as soon as he found out that the police were called. The Game apparently didn't take the lawsuit seriously because he completely blew the thing off, failing to appear in court. As a result, the judge entered a default judgment in favor of Awaji, ordering $100,000 in damages.
$7 Million Judgement
In 2016, The Game was accused of sexually assaulting Priscilla Rainey, a contestant on his VH1 reality dating show "She Got Game." Rainey filed a civil lawsuit, and after The Game repeatedly failed to appear in court, a judge awarded her a $7,130,100 default judgment in 2018. The Game denied the allegations and publicly vowed never to pay Rainey a dime, but she persisted in her legal efforts to collect.
In 2017, The Game actually sued Viacom for $20 million, claiming the network failed to vet Rainey's background and ignored warnings from a psychologist. However, in 2018, a judge dismissed his lawsuit and ruled Viacom was not liable, also ordering The Game to pay the company's $32,000 legal fees.
In 2019, Rainey filed a motion to seize The Game's income. Over the next several years, courts granted her control over multiple revenue streams connected to the rapper. In April 2020, she was awarded ownership of his independent label, Prolific Records, along with all royalties from his 2019 album "Born 2 Rap" after The Game failed to show up to court. In December 2021, she was further authorized to seize earnings from The Game's account on the celebrity video platform Cameo, which court filings showed had generated $19,000 in income.
Calabasas Mansion Seizure
In 2017, The Game paid $2.9 million for a sprawling estate set on over two acres in Calabasas, California. In addition to the 4,000-square-foot main house, there are several additional structures, a resort-style pool, a tennis court, a full-court basketball court that can be converted into a tennis court, and much more.
In May 2025, a California judge approved the sale of his Calabasas mansion, then valued at $4 million, to help satisfy the judgment. Court records revealed The Game had attempted to transfer the deed to his manager, Wack 100, in an effort to shield the property from seizure. Despite his ongoing resistance, the sale was authorized, and Rainey is expected to collect the proceeds. The rapper still reportedly owes several million dollars beyond what the home may fetch.
$13 Million Bank Account?
In 2016, The Game donated $500,000 to support residents affected by the Flint water crisis, partnering with AvitaWater, which matched his gift for a total of $1 million. The donation came through his charity, The Robin Hood Project, motivated in part by his sister and her children living in Flint. He publicly challenged other celebrities to give more, calling out Madonna and Jimmy Fallon's $10,000 donations as "cute." Furthermore, The Game included a screenshot of the donation, which inadvertently revealed his account contained over $13 million, sparking speculation that The Game may be wealthier—and more philanthropic—than previously thought:

The Game was born Jayceon Terrell Taylor on November 29, 1979, in Compton, Los Angeles, California. The Game grew up in Santana Blocc, a notoriously dangerous neighborhood that was run by the street gang known as The Crips. Music Career
In late 2001, Game was recovering in the hospital from gunshot wounds when he began to study all of the classic hip-hop albums. He studied various influential rap albums and positioned himself to become a rapper himself. Game and Big Fase made his first mixtape together, "You Know What It Is Vol. 1," and released it in 2002. It gained the attention of Sean Combs, who wanted to sign him initially, but Dr. Dre got to him first and signed him to Aftermath Entertainment. Dre decided to pair The Game up with 50 Cent and G-Unit to help grow a buzz around him. In 2003, The Game signed his first recording contract with 50 Cent's G-Unit record label. Shortly thereafter, he went on to form his own record label, Black Wall Street Records.
The Game scored a knockout hit in 2005 with his debut album, "The Documentary." The album opened at #1 on the Billboard 200, and a single from that album, "Hate It or Love It," received two Grammy nominations. The Game has become influential in the rap community and is credited with being a driving force in his attempt to resuscitate West Coast Hip-Hop and restore its mainstream status. Between 2005 and 2012, The Game released five studio albums and has sold more than 10 million records worldwide to date. During his career, he has also been involved in a number of highly publicized feuds, including one with former mentor 50 Cent. Album" (2011), "Jesus Piece" (2012), "The Documentary 2" (2015), and "1992" (2016) all reached #1 on the US Rap charts. The Game released his ninth studio album, "Born 2 Rap," in 2019. His single "How We Do" (featuring 50 Cent) reached #2 on the US Rap and US R&B charts. The Game was nominated for a BET Award for Best New Artist as well as three "Billboard" Awards and two MTV Music Video Awards in 2005. He was also nominated for two Grammy Awards for "Hate It or Love It" and won Ozone Awards in 2007 and 2008.
In August 2022, The Game released the album "Drillmatic – Heart vs. Mind." It was executive produced by Kanye West and featured guest appearances by Chloe Bailey, Rick Ross, ASAP Rocky, Meek Mill, YoungBoy NBA, and Big Sean.
