Dorit Kemsley is an American reality television star, fashion designer, and entrepreneur who has a net worth of $25 million. Dorit rose to fame in 2016 when she joined "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" during Season 7. Known for her glamorous lifestyle, bold fashion choices, and quick wit, she quickly became a fan favorite on the Bravo series. Beyond television, Dorit has built a successful career in fashion, founding the swimwear line Beverly Beach by Dorit and later launching a bridal collection in collaboration with Nektaria. She is also active in philanthropy, supporting multiple children's charities. In 2024, Dorit's marriage to PK ended in a highly publicized separation and divorce, which played out on "RHOBH" and drew major media attention.
Early Life
Dorit Kemsley was born Dorit Lemel on July 14, 1976, in Woodbridge, Connecticut, to Israeli parents Shalom and Rachel Lemel. After graduating from Quinnipiac University with a degree in design, marketing, and communications, she traveled extensively through Europe. She eventually settled in Italy, where she spent ten years working for a global swimwear company, honing her skills in fashion and design.
Career
Dorit entered the world of reality television through her friendship with Lisa Vanderpump, serving as Lisa's personal designer before joining the cast of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" at the start of Season 7, which premiered on December 6, 2016.
She has held a main role on the show for multiple seasons, with her personal life, fashion ventures, and family challenges often at the center of her storyline.
In addition to her TV career, Dorit launched Beverly Beach by Dorit, a successful swimwear and resort-wear line inspired by her time living in Italy. She later expanded her fashion brand by collaborating with designer Nektaria to create a bridal collection. Dorit has also operated her namesake fashion company, Dorit, producing Italian-inspired clothes, swimwear, and accessories.
Outside of fashion and reality TV, Dorit is an active philanthropist, focusing much of her charitable work on children's organizations. She also made a guest appearance alongside her husband Paul on "Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles" in 2019.

Personal Life
Dorit married real estate developer and talent manager Paul "PK" Kemsley in 2015 at the Rainbow Room in New York City. They have two children together: son Jagger and daughter Phoenix. The family was known for their close ties to singer Boy George, who lived with them periodically and is godfather to their son.
In October 2021, Dorit and her children were the victims of a terrifying home invasion, during which intruders stole nearly $1 million worth of belongings. The incident, and its emotional aftermath, was covered extensively on "RHOBH," showing the support Dorit received from her co-stars.
In May 2024, Dorit and PK announced their separation after years of marital struggles, including financial pressures, legal issues, and PK's battle with alcoholism. Their split became a major focus of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" Season 14.
In April 2025, Dorit officially filed for divorce after PK was publicly photographed kissing reality TV personality Shana Wall. She requested sole legal and physical custody of their two children, as well as spousal support and attorney's fees. The divorce was further complicated by the reported absence of a prenuptial agreement between the two.
Dorit cited PK's drinking and "toxic" behavior as major factors in the breakdown of their marriage, although PK reportedly celebrated nine months of sobriety in September 2024.

Controversy
Dorit and PK's financial troubles have been well-documented. In 2018, it was revealed that PK owed $3.6 million in gambling debts to the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, stemming from payments made between 2010 and 2011.
In addition, Dorit faced a lawsuit from a former business partner who claimed he had fronted the couple over $200,000 to help launch Beverly Beach. Dorit and PK denied the allegations.
In November 2021, PK was arrested for DUI in Los Angeles, blowing a .081 during a breathalyzer test—just above the legal limit of .080 in California.
Dorit and Paul Kemsley Real Estate
In August 2019, Dorit and PK purchased a $6.5 million home in Encino, Los Angeles. They listed it for sale in 2020 for $9.5 million, with Mauricio Umansky—husband of Dorit's RHOBH co-star Kyle Richards—handling the listing.
The Kemsleys were also known for living in a Beverly Hills mansion they co-owned with a business partner, which was originally listed for $12.85 million but ultimately sold for about $7.5 million after price reductions.
In 2023, they moved to a sprawling estate in Hidden Hills, buying a new home for $13.5 million. However, by 2025, the future of that property remains uncertain amid their ongoing divorce proceedings.
