Mister Cee was born Calvin LeBrun on August 16, 1966 in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, New York. He started working summer jobs at age 14, and graduated from high school at 18. He met Big Daddy Kane while in high school. After graduation he worked for several messenger companies. He worked for Airborne Express up until he and Big Daddy Kane released the album "Long Live the Kane" in 1988). LeBrun is best known as the DJ for hip hop artist Big Daddy Kane during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
