He appeared on an episode of the TV series Wagon Train in 1964 and provided the voice of Pugsley Addams for The Addams Family series in 1973.
In 1977 he played Pugsley Sr. in the TV movie Halloween with the New Addams Family. In 1992 Weatherwax worked as a grip for the film Unlawful Entry. After having a difficult time finding work he entered the U.S. Army at 17. Ken's brother played Porky on the TV series Lassie and his uncles owned the first dog to play Lassie. Ken Weatherwax passed away on December 7, 2014 from a heart attack at 59.
