In 2007 Torrens starred in the television series Kids Are in Charge: Family Vacation. From 2010 to 2013 he starred as Chester Vince in the series Call me Fitz. Since 2001 he has starred as J-Roc in the TV series Trailer Park Boys. He has also starred as Robert Cheeley in the TV series Mr. D since 2012.
