Hiller began his career in improv comedy, joining the Upright Citizens Brigade in 2001. There, he was a member of such improv teams as People People, Creep, and Rumpleteaser. Hiller also taught improv comedy for a decade.
Television Career
Hiller started acting on television in the mid-'00s with a guest role on the short-lived FX sitcom "Starved." Later in the decade, he had a small but memorable part as a hotel clerk in the "Reunion" episode of the NBC sitcom "30 Rock." Hiller appeared again on "30 Rock" in a different guest role in 2011. The same year, he was in episodes of "Community," "Bored to Death," "Death Valley," "Psych," and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent."
