Early Life
Brody Jenner was born Sam Brody Jenner on August 21, 1983, in Los Angeles, California. He is the son of Olympic decathlete Bruce Jenner, now known as Caitlyn Jenner, and Bruce's former wife, songwriter Linda Thompson. The couple divorced when Brody was just two years old. He is also the former stepbrother of Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob Kardashian (who resulted from Bruce's remarriage to Kris Kardashian in 1991) and the half-brother of Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Brody is also a half-brother to Burton and Cassandra Jenner through Bruce's 1972-1981 marriage to Chrystie Crownover.
Career
As a model, Brody has worked for Guess clothing, Agent Provocateur underwear, and the magazine "Cosmogirl." Jenner occasionally made cameo appearances on the reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." Brody has gained notoriety as a reality television star. His first foray into reality TV was on the show "The Princes of Malibu" alongside his songwriting mom, music producer stepdad, David Foster, and brother Brandon in 2005. He was also prominently featured throughout MTV's reality show "The Hills," which was a spinoff of "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County." It chronicled the lives of Lauren Conrad, Heid Montag, Audrina Patridge, and Whitney Port. Jenner began dating Conrad in 2007, hence his starring spot on the show.
In 2009, Brody hosted his own reality show called "Bromance," in which young men competed to become part of his entourage. Brody has been nominated for three Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV: Male Reality/Variety Star for "The Hills" and "Bromance."

Furthermore, Brody dated Lauren Conrad, model Cora Skinner, and "Playboy" Playmate of the Year Jayde Nicole. From 2010 to 2012, he was in a relationship with Canadian pop-punk singer Avril Lavigne. Brody and his stepsister Kim Kardashian helped Avril celebrate the release of her album "Goodbye Lullaby" in March 2011. Brody is an avid surfer who suffered a mildly serious injury on a surfing trip in Indonesia. In 2013, he spent $1.9 million on a home in Malibu for himself.
Brody dated Kaitlynn Carter from 2014 to 2019, and they had a commitment ceremony in 2018 in Bali.
