He was born, William Eugene Burrows in Hugoton, Kansas and worked as a stuntman while in high school. He began his acting career in 1979 with early works like No Other Love, Windwalker, and Cutter's Way. He also achieved success in television, making guest appearances in shows like Hill Street Blues, Moonlighting, Walker Texas Ranger, and Trapper John, MD. His most successful role in television was that of Barbas, the demon in Charmed. Barbas was only supposed to appear in one episode, but due to his popularity, was written into six episodes. Some of his other well-known appearances were in Mad Dog Time, Tremors 4: The Legend Begins, and The Hills Have Eyes remake in 2006. He was married to Silvana Gallardo from 1980 until 2012 when she passed away from cancer. The couple had one child, Darren E Burrows, who is also an actor.
