What is Terry Dubrow's net worth?
Terry Dubrow is an American plastic surgeon who has a net worth of $80 million. Terry Dubrow first gained widespread fame for his appearances on reality TV shows, most notably "Botched," where he collaborates with fellow plastic surgeon Paul Nassif to correct extreme cases of cosmetic surgeries gone wrong. The show has gained a large following for its combination of medical expertise, human-interest stories, and entertainment value, solidifying Dubrow's status as a household name in cosmetic surgery.
In addition to "Botched," Dr. Dubrow has appeared on other television programs such as "The Swan" and "Bridalplasty," where he showcased his surgical skills in transforming patients' appearances. Terry has also been featured on the Bravo series "The Real Housewives of Orange County" alongside his wife, Heather Dubrow.
In 2022, Heather and Terry sold their Orange County mansion, which they custom built a decade earlier, for $55 million to an unnamed buyer. More details about their real estate holdings are provided later in this article.
Early and Personal Life
Terry J. Dubrow was born on September 14, 1958, in Los Angeles, California, to Laura and Alvin Dubrow. He had an older brother, Kevin Dubrow, who was the lead singer for the popular heavy metal band Quiet Riot until his death due to an overdose in 2007. Terry attended medical school at UCLA and graduated in 1986. He also has a master's degree from Yale. He went on to complete a residency in general surgery and was chief resident at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and he completed his fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the UCLA Medical Center.
He met actress and Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Paige Dubrow in the 1990s. They met on a blind date, and Terry fell for Heather head over heels right away. They married in 1999 and have four children: twins Nicholas and Maximillia, as well as daughters Katarina and Collette. The family lives in Newport Beach.

Career Beginnings
Terry Dubrow established his private practice in Newport Beach, California, where he became known as a highly skilled cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon. Before his television career, he earned strong reviews from patients and referrals from fellow doctors for his expertise in facelifts, rhinoplasty, tummy tucks, breast augmentations, and complex revision surgeries. His ability to take on challenging corrective cases in particular helped distinguish him in the competitive Southern California market.
Reality TV Breakthrough
In 2004, Dubrow was approached by Fox producers to serve as the featured plastic surgeon on the reality series "The Swan." The show followed women undergoing dramatic physical transformations, with Dubrow performing many of the surgeries. His work on "The Swan" doubled his waitlist and introduced him to a national audience.
He continued with other reality projects, including "Bridalplasty" in 2010, which featured women competing for wedding makeovers and cosmetic procedures. Though the show only lasted one season, it added to Dubrow's reputation as a reality TV doctor. In 2015, he co-hosted "Good Work" alongside RuPaul and Sandra Vergara, a short-lived talk show examining plastic surgery trends. That same year, he also signed on for "Botched by Nature," a spin-off of what would become his most successful television series.

Botched
In 2014, Dubrow and fellow surgeon Dr. Paul Nassif launched the reality series "Botched" on E!. The show documents the two doctors as they attempt to repair botched cosmetic procedures, often helping patients whose previous surgeries left them with devastating physical and emotional challenges. The mix of medical drama, personal storytelling, and Dubrow's on-screen rapport with Nassif made "Botched" a hit. The series has since run for multiple seasons and inspired spin-offs, becoming one of E!'s most popular reality programs and cementing Dubrow's place in pop culture.

Other Ventures
In addition to his reality television career, Dubrow has appeared as a medical authority on programs such as "Good Day LA," "The Early Show," "Larry King Live," and "The View." He has discussed the benefits and risks of plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as broader health and wellness topics.
He has also contributed to the medical field through research and publications. Dubrow previously served as director of the Acne Clinic of Newport Beach and has published papers in journals including The American Journal of Surgery, Journal of Surgical Research, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is the co-author of "The Acne Cure," which became a widely read guide for treating the condition.
Dubrow has collaborated with his wife, Heather Dubrow, on several health and wellness projects. Together they co-wrote "Dr. and Mrs. Guinea Pig," a book that examines the booming anti-aging industry and evaluates products and treatments for safety and effectiveness.
In 2018, they published "The Dubrow Diet," a book promoting a structured approach to intermittent fasting combined with low-carb eating to support weight loss and anti-aging benefits. They followed this with "The Dubrow Keto Fusion Diet," an e-book blending elements of keto and intermittent fasting.
The couple also developed Consult Beaute, a skincare line launched through shopping networks and online platforms, which has grown into a multi-product brand over the past decade.
Chateau Dubrow
In 2013, Heather Terry sold their longtime Orange County mansion for $16.4 million. Around the same time as the sale, they paid $4.3 million for a plot of land in a new Newport Coast community, where they proceeded to build their new dream home. The final product, which they named "Chateau Dubrow," spans 22,000 square feet over nearly a full acre. They reportedly spent $21 million constructing the mansion. In October 2022, they sold Chateau Dubrow to an unnamed buyer for $55 million.
Other Real Estate
The same month of the sale, Terry and Heather paid $14 million for a penthouse in Los Angeles' Century City neighborhood. Located within the 42-story tower known as The Century, the Dubrows' unit has 5,300 square feet of living space and, amazingly, just TWO bedrooms. Heather and Terry also own a property in Idaho.
It is known as the "Cavalli Penthouse," and here is a video tour:
In July 2023, Terry and Heather paid $16.1 million for a hilltop mansion in Beverly Hills that formerly belonged to producer Dino De Laurentiis. Terry and Heather listed this home for sale in March 2025 for $25 million. They ultimately accepted $16.5 million in August 2025. Here is a video tour:
