What Is Law Roach's Net Worth?
Law Roach is an American celebrity stylist, television personality, author, and entrepreneur who has a net worth of $10 million. Roach calls himself an "image architect," a description that reflects his approach to using clothing, accessories, hairstyles, and carefully planned public appearances to construct a celebrity's visual identity.
He is best known for his longtime creative partnership with Zendaya. Beginning when she was a teenage Disney Channel star, Roach helped transform Zendaya into one of the most influential fashion figures in Hollywood. Their red-carpet collaborations have included elaborate archival pieces, custom couture, and "method dressing" tied directly to her films.
Roach has also worked with clients including Céline Dion, Ariana Grande, Anya Taylor-Joy, Priyanka Chopra, Megan Thee Stallion, Kerry Washington, Tom Holland, and numerous other entertainers. His income now extends well beyond traditional styling. His business includes advertising campaigns, consulting for wealthy private clients, television, books, speaking engagements, education, and brand partnerships. Roach has said that his overall business generates revenue in the mid-seven figures.
Early Life
Lawrence Roach was born on July 20, 1978, in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up on the city's South Side.
Rather than entering fashion through an internship at a designer or magazine, Roach began buying and reselling vintage clothing. He eventually opened a Chicago boutique called Deliciously Vintage.
A major break came after Kanye West visited the store in 2009. Paparazzi photographs and attention surrounding West's visit brought new interest from stylists and fashion-industry clients.
Roach eventually relocated to Los Angeles and began pursuing celebrity styling more seriously.
Zendaya
Roach met Zendaya when she was about 14 years old, before she had established herself as a major film star. Their working relationship became the foundation of both of their careers in high fashion.
Early on, many luxury fashion houses were reluctant to lend clothing to Zendaya because she was considered too young or insufficiently established. Roach instead relied on emerging designers, vintage clothing, and brands willing to take a chance on her.
As Zendaya became increasingly famous, her red-carpet appearances became events in their own right. Roach styled her for premieres, awards shows, Met Galas, and fashion campaigns, helping turn fashion into an extension of each film she was promoting.
Among their most famous looks was the vintage Mugler robotic suit Zendaya wore while promoting "Dune: Part Two."
Céline Dion and Other Clients
Roach's career reached another level when Céline Dion hired him in 2016 after seeing his work with Zendaya.
He helped reinvent Dion's public fashion image through bold couture and streetwear choices, including a now-famous Vetements "Titanic" sweatshirt. Roach has credited working with Dion with making him a more precise and demanding stylist.
His client roster eventually expanded to include some of Hollywood's biggest stars, and at major events he has sometimes styled several celebrities simultaneously.
Television Career
Roach became a television personality as a judge on "America's Next Top Model." He later served as a judge on HBO Max's ballroom competition "Legendary."
His television work subsequently expanded to appearances on shows including "RuPaul's Drag Race," "OMG Fashun," and "Project Runway."
Roach's fame increasingly made him a celebrity independent of the people he dressed, something extremely unusual for a stylist.

Retirement and Business
In March 2023, Roach shocked the fashion industry by announcing that he was retiring from celebrity styling, citing industry politics and the pressures of the job.
The retirement was not a withdrawal from fashion altogether. He continued working with Zendaya and selectively accepted other projects while expanding into more lucrative areas.
Roach has said that some of his highest-paying clients are extremely wealthy private individuals rather than celebrities. He also handles advertising campaigns and fashion consulting, revenue streams that can be substantially more profitable than a single red-carpet styling job.
His broader operation has grown into a mid-seven-figure annual business.
Book and School of Style
In 2024, Roach published "How to Build a Fashion Icon: Notes on Confidence from the World's Only Image Architect." The book combines fashion advice, career lessons, and his ideas about confidence and personal presentation.
He also launched School of Style, an online education platform designed to teach aspiring stylists about both the creative and business sides of the profession.
Those ventures, together with television salaries, styling and consulting fees, speaking engagements, campaigns, partnerships, and private-client work, transformed Roach from a behind-the-scenes fashion professional into a substantial personal brand.
