Five years later, he debuted his first fragrance line, Kenzo de Kenzo, in 1988. He has launched several more perfumes for both men and women, and he released his own skin care line, KenzoKI, in 2001. He retired from designing in 1999, though he has dabbled in several home goods designs since then. The brand Kenzo is now owned by France's LVMH. Takada currently serves as the Honorary President of the Asian Couture Federation.
