What is Zhu Yicai's Net Worth?

Zhu Yicai is a Chinese billionaire who has a net worth of $1.3 billion. The former chairman of China Yurun Food, Zhu Yicai is the first private-sector businessman to have acquired a state-owned enterprise in China's Jiangsu Province. He set up meat products maker Yurun Food in 1993, and withdrew as chairman in 2012. He left the position due to irregularities in the company's accounting practices, even though the company denied such claims.

Ever since, Zhu Yicai has witnessed a major drop in his net worth on the back of almost 50% fall in China Yurun Food shares. But still, some of his investment worked perfectly and earned him a place among billionaires. Zhu Yicai's bankable investments include 70% of Nanjing Central Emporium, which saw a remarkable increase in its profit this year. As of February 2013, the company also revealed its intentions to invest $350 million in two new malls.
