William Fisher is an American entrepreneur who has a net worth of $800 million. He is one of three sons born Doris and Donald Fisher, co-founders of retailer The Gap.

Just like his two brothers Robert and John, William attended Princeton and then at Stanford Business School before entering the family business. To date he has spent nearly four decades working for The Gap and has served on the board of directors since 2009. He had the chance to hold the general manager position in Canada and later got transferred to the international division, where he was the one to pioneer Gap's presence in Japan, France, Germany and the United Kingdom. Aside from his substantial contribution to Gap, he set up his own company in 2011. He founded a London-based private equity company, Manzanita Capital, which invests in luxury and consumer retail companies in Europe.

Directly or indirectly through various family trusts, Doris and her sons own around 43% of the company's shares. At the peak of the company's performance, the Fisher family received $100 million a year in dividends alone. The family is one of the 30 largest landowners in the US, owning 440,000 acres in California alone.
