She co-founded the IT consulting and outsourcing company with her billionaire husband Bharat Desai. Desai serves as a board member for the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE).
