One of the youngest entrepreneurs to join the billionaires' pack in 2013, Naruatsu Baba accumulated his $1.6 billion after the stock price of his smartphone-game maker, Colopl, has made almost sevenfold leap since its IPO in December 2012.
It was in 2008 that he set up the Tokyo-based app maker as a developer and today he is a majority shareholder with a 59% stake in the company after selling off a 10% stake last summer.
