Dmitry Kamenshchik is a Russian businessman who has a net worth of $1.4 billion. Together with his business partner, Valery Kogan, Dmitry Kamenshchik owns Moscow Domodedovo Airport, which is the largest airport in Europe. As of last year, the airport has served approximately 30.76 million passengers, which is a 9.2% increase from 2012. He was still a Moscow State University philosophy student when Kamenshchik started his business in 1992, chartering a plane which transported goods from China to Moscow.
Off to a good start, Kamenshchik soon had enough strength to build a cargo terminal in Domodedovo airport. Later on, the control of the entire airport fell in his hands. After major reconstructions in 1999-2000, Domodedovo gained trust and popularity, which were inevitable for making it become the largest airport in Russia.
