What is Chen Jinxia's Net Worth?

Chen Jinxia is a Chinese heiress who has a net worth of $1.23 billion. Born in 1968, she inherited her fortune after the death of her husband, Wei Dong. A graduate of Shanghai University, Chen Jinxia worked as an accountant in several investment companies and trusts before she became the right hand of her late husband.

Wei Dong was a successful magnate who created the Yongjin Group in 1994, a financial consulting firm interested in private equity investment, financial service and medical industry. Troubled by depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder, Wei Dong committed suicide in 2008, and Jinxia inherited the controlling stake of the firm, which also holds shares in Sinolink Securities, a brokerage firm, as well as pharmaceutical producers Zhuzhou Qianjin Pharmaceutical and Jiuzhitang. Like her husband, she also keeps a low profile avoiding publicity and she has never accepted an interview or delivered a speech for any public occasion.
