Tomas Alcantara is a Filipino businessman who has a net worth of $160 million. He rose to riches as the President and Chairman of the publicly-listed Alsons Consolidated Resources, an investment holding company with interests in energy and property development. Actually, it's his 80% share in the company that makes up the most of his fortune.
In the meantime, Alsons Consolidated Resources is investing more than $1 billion to construct new power plants in electricity-starved Mindanao province as a part of project that needs to be carried out in the next five years.
