What Is Lisa Barlow's Net Worth?
Lisa Barlow is an American businesswoman and reality television personality who has a net worth of $2 million.
Lisa Barlow is best known as one of the original cast members of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City." Since joining the series, she has become one of its most recognizable personalities, known for her outspoken opinions, love of luxury, affinity for fast food, and the nickname "Baby Gorgeous."
Long before reality television, Barlow was an entrepreneur in the spirits and marketing industries. She and her husband, John Barlow, co-founded Vida Tequila, a Utah-based premium tequila company that launched nationally in 2007. She later created LUXE Marketing, an experiential marketing company that has produced events, product launches, concerts, and promotions around major entertainment events including the Sundance Film Festival. The Barlow family has also been involved with the men's grooming company Fresh Wolf and other beverage and consumer brands.
Early Life
Lisa Jean Lee was born on December 14, 1974, in New York. She grew up in upstate New York as one of six children. Her family had Jewish heritage but converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when Lisa was young.
Barlow attended Schalmont High School in the Albany area. She later attended Brigham Young University in Utah before transferring to the University at Albany, where she completed her college education.
Her relationship with Mormonism eventually became an important part of her public persona. Barlow has described herself as "Mormon 2.0," reflecting her decision to remain connected to the church while also drinking alcohol, selling tequila, and interpreting aspects of the faith differently from more traditional members.
Vida Tequila
Lisa and John Barlow began developing Vida Tequila in 2003 and officially launched the brand in 2007. The tequila is produced in Jalisco, Mexico, while the company has been based in Utah.
The Barlows entered the spirits industry before the explosion of celebrity-backed tequila brands that transformed the market in subsequent years. Vida has sold blanco, reposado, and añejo tequilas and has been promoted extensively through events, restaurants, nightlife, and Barlow's television appearances.
Lisa has credited the challenges of marketing an independent alcohol company against much larger competitors with helping inspire another one of her businesses, LUXE Marketing.
The Barlows have also developed other alcohol products and brands. Their ventures have included Jack Henry Spirits and the Blue Jay hard-seltzer line.

LUXE Marketing
Barlow founded LUXE Marketing in 2008 after deciding that she could perform much of Vida's marketing and event promotion herself rather than outsourcing it.
LUXE specializes in experiential marketing, branding, celebrity partnerships, and events. Barlow built connections in entertainment through work in New York, Los Angeles, and Utah and became particularly associated with events surrounding the Sundance Film Festival in Park City.
Through LUXE, she has worked on everything from private celebrity events and mansion parties to concerts and product launches. Barlow has said that she has also created and sold brands over the course of her entrepreneurial career.
"The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City"
Barlow became a member of the original cast of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" when the Bravo series premiered in 2020. The original ensemble also included Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, Mary Cosby, and Jen Shah.
Her combination of business ambition, extravagant tastes, religious contradictions, and willingness to confront her castmates quickly made her a prominent part of the show. Several of Barlow's comments and mannerisms became recurring jokes among fans, including her use of "Baby Gorgeous" as a term of affection.
The series has also documented her marriage, friendships, businesses, and relationship with the LDS Church. Barlow has openly embraced expensive tastes on the show, at one point saying that she spends an average of $60,000 per year on professional hair and makeup.
Her success on "RHOSLC" has expanded her public profile beyond Utah and produced additional television appearances, endorsements, sponsored partnerships, and other opportunities.
Fresh Wolf
Lisa and John helped their sons, Jack and Henry, launch Fresh Wolf, a men's grooming company, in 2019. The brand has sold shampoo, conditioner, styling products, body wash, and other personal-care products.
Fresh Wolf was created with a charitable component inspired in part by John's childhood. He spent time in foster care before eventually being adopted. The company has partnered with organizations helping children in foster care and has donated grooming products to displaced youth.
Vida Tequila Lawsuits
Vida Tequila and the Barlows have faced several civil lawsuits involving business debts. Some of those cases were dismissed, while another high-profile lawsuit was filed in 2024 by Park City builder Bart Carlson and his company, Yukon Construction.
Carlson alleged that he provided more than $410,000 in loans to Lisa, Vida Tequila, and LUXE Marketing over a period beginning in 2010 and had not been repaid. Barlow strongly denied owing Carlson the money, saying that she pays her bills and obligations and characterizing his claims as false.
The litigation later became a storyline on "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City," where Barlow pushed back against suggestions from her castmates that the lawsuits reflected financial trouble.
Personal Life
Lisa was introduced to John Barlow through her older sister, Genia. Lisa and John married in 2003 and have two sons, Jack and Henry. In addition to being her husband, John has been Lisa's longtime business partner in Vida Tequila and several other ventures.
Their marriage and family life have been featured extensively on "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City." Their older son, Jack, also attracted attention on the series when he chose to serve an LDS mission rather than immediately attend college.
Real Estate
Lisa and John have lived for years in Draper, Utah, south of Salt Lake City. Their roughly 5,000-square-foot home was built in 2006 and has been featured on "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City." The property is worth a little over $1 million.
The Barlows acquired the house in 2018 with a mortgage of roughly $592,000. In 2025, ownership of the property was transferred from Lisa into a family trust.
Lisa and John have also discussed building a new Utah home. Their plans have included a modern indoor-outdoor design, mountain views, and a swimming pool, reflecting the increasingly luxurious lifestyle associated with Barlow's years on reality television.
