Jett Wayne Puckett was born on August 30, 1990, in Georgia.

He attended Darlington School before enrolling at the University of Georgia. Jett excelled academically and graduated at the top of his class.

He subsequently entered the joint JD/MBA program at the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his Juris Doctor from Penn Law and an MBA from the Wharton School in 2016.

While at Penn, Jett served as co-president of the Penn Association of Law and Business and was involved with the Wharton Rugby Football Club.

Investment Banking and M&A Career

After completing his graduate degrees, Puckett joined Citigroup as an investment banking associate. His work focused on healthcare transactions.

He moved to H2C Securities in 2017 and spent nearly four years advising healthcare companies on mergers and acquisitions. The work included sell-side transactions, valuations, negotiations, and other aspects of healthcare investment banking.

Jett met Campbell Hunt at a wine bar in Philadelphia while he was attending graduate school at Penn. The couple became engaged less than a year after their first date and married on April 14, 2018, in Oxford, Mississippi.

Their second daughter, Georgia "Georgie" Blue Puckett, was born on July 1, 2026, approximately four weeks ahead of schedule. Her name honors Campbell's great-grandmother, Georgie Blue Campbell.
