Career
Tilbury's makeup career began as an assistant to Mary Greenwell, who she had met in America at the age of 11. She has called Greenwell "an incredible mentor." In 2012, Charlotte created the "CharlotteTilbury" YouTube channel and the blog "Charlotte's Beauty Secrets." The following year, she launched Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Ltd. with a line of makeup and skincare products sold at London's Selfridges department store. The partnership's focus is "to empower, inspire confidence, and encourage young women to chase their dreams," and it includes the Charlotte Tilbury Scholarship, which will support one driver's participation in the British Indoor Karting Championship. Charlotte Tilbury Beauty supported Lola Lovinfosse for the 2024 season and Chloe Chong the following season. Charlotte said of the F1 Academy partnership, "With this partnership, we will use our global platform to celebrate and amplify this new generation of inspiring young female drivers, opening up the traditionally male-dominated world of motorsport to even more talented young women. Empowering everyone, everywhere to unlock the magic of confidence has always been my passion and purpose – and I was so excited when I discovered that this vision was shared by Susie Wolff and F1 ACADEMY!"
