What is Bukayo Saka's Net Worth and Salary?

Bukayo Saka is an English professional footballer who has a net worth of $30 million. Bukayo Saka plays as a right winger for the Premier League club Arsenal and for the England national team, and is considered by many as one of the best players in the world. Among his career accomplishments, he won an FA Cup and two FA Community Shields with Arsenal and was twice named England Men's Player of the Year.

Contracts, Salary & Career Earnings

Bukayo Saka signed a long-term contract with Arsenal in May 2023 that runs through June 2027. The deal is reportedly worth around £60 million ($73 million) in total, making him one of the club's highest-paid players. His base salary is estimated at approximately £195,000 per week ($240,000), or just over £10 million per year ($12 million), though some reports suggest his weekly pay could reach £250,000 ($310,000) with bonuses and performance incentives. Prior to this deal, Saka earned significantly less during his early seasons as he rose from the Arsenal academy to become a first-team star. Over the course of this current contract, he is expected to earn more than £40 million ($49 million) in base salary alone, not including endorsement income or appearance bonuses.

Early Life and Education

Bukayo Saka was born on September 5, 2001 in London, England to Yoruba Nigerian immigrant parents Yomi and Adenike. He has an older sibling. Saka was educated at Edward Betham Church of England Primary School and Greenford High School. Saka played youth football with his local club Greenford Celtic as well as with the youth teams of Watford and Arsenal.

Arsenal

Saka made his first-team debut for Arsenal in late 2018 in a UEFA Europa League match, coming on as a substitute in the 68th minute for Aaron Ramsey. Early the next year, he made his Premier League debut in a victory over Fulham. Saka scored his first career goal, in the Europa League, in September of 2019. At the end of the season, he was an unused substitute in the FA Cup final, which Arsenal won by defeating Chelsea 2-1. Arsenal went on to win the FA Community Shield on penalties against Liverpool. Saka finished the 2019-20 season with four goals across 38 total appearances. He continued to establish himself as a top player over the subsequent seasons. In the 2020-21 season, Saka scored seven goals in 46 total appearances and earned Arsenal Player of the Month honors for December, January, and February. He was also named Arsenal Player of the Season. Saka earned that title again in 2021-22 after scoring a club-leading 12 goals in 43 total appearances.

Toward the beginning of the 2022-23 season, Saka made his 100th Premier League appearance. In October, he scored in three consecutive matches for the first time in his career. Saka continued his success by winning the Premier League Player of the Month award for March 2023. He finished the season with 15 goals in 48 total appearances and was named the PFA Young Player of the Year. Moreover, he won his second FA Community Shield with Arsenal. In the 2023-24 season, Saka set an Arsenal club record with his 83rd consecutive Premier League appearance. A little over a month after that, he scored his first Champions League goal. In December, Saka made his 200th appearance for Arsenal, and in February 2024 he became the youngest Arsenal player to surpass 50 goals in the Premier League. Overall, he had 20 goals in 47 total appearances in 2023-24. The following season, Saka scored 12 goals in 37 appearances.
