Early Life

Justin Shearer was born on December 9, 1980, in Louisville, Kentucky. His family later moved to Oklahoma.

Shearer became fascinated with the Oklahoma City street-racing scene while he was still a child. He has said that he rode his bicycle to races and spent years watching older racers before he was able to compete himself.

At age 16, he acquired a 1972 Pontiac LeMans. The car eventually became the famous Crow.

Street Racing and Midwest Street Cars

Shearer became deeply involved in Oklahoma City's street-racing community and eventually emerged as the organizer of the city's famous 405 Top 10 list.

He worked outside racing, including in heating and air conditioning, before television transformed the hobby into a full-time occupation.
