Braxton Berrios has earned more than $16 million in NFL salary during a career as a wide receiver and return specialist with the New England Patriots, New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans, and New York Giants organization.

Berrios enjoyed his best individual season with the Jets in 2021, when he led the NFL with 30.4 yards per kickoff return and was named a first-team Associated Press All-Pro. Braxton Berrios was born on October 6, 1995, in Raleigh, North Carolina. He attended Leesville Road High School, where he became a highly regarded football prospect and played on both sides of the ball.

Despite standing only around 5-foot-9, Berrios developed a reputation for quickness, route running and competitiveness. He received scholarship offers from several major college programs before committing to the University of Miami.

Berrios was equally accomplished academically. At Miami, he double-majored in finance and entrepreneurship and graduated with a 3.96 GPA. He was a Dean's List student every semester, earned first-team Academic All-America honors and won the ACC's Jim Tatum Award as the conference's top senior football scholar-athlete. University of Miami

Berrios played four seasons for the Miami Hurricanes from 2014 through 2017, appearing in 49 games. He finished his college career with 100 receptions for 1,175 yards and 14 receiving touchdowns while also contributing as a punt returner.

His best season came as a senior, when he caught 55 passes for 679 yards and nine touchdowns. He also averaged 15.9 yards per punt return, the best mark in the ACC, and earned third-team All-ACC honors.

New England Patriots

New York Jets

$12 Million Jets Contract
