Elizabeth Taylor died early this morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles at the age of 79. The beloved actress had been suffering from congestive heart failure, "a condition with which she had struggled with for many years." Taylor died peacefully surrounded by her children.

Rob Kardashian has to have emergency surgery yesterday at a L.A. hospital. He had been in a great deal of pain from his stomach all day and Sister Kim had been taking care of him. The doctors removed his appendix; he is recovering and doing fine.

Chris Brown has lucked out Good Morning America has decided they will not press charges against Brown from his outburst on the set that resulted in a broken dressing room window. This great news for Chris who is because he's currently on probation for beating up Rihanna, this incident would be a violation of his probation and he could have been facing jail time.

Chuck Lorre says there is no way Charlie Sheen will be returning to the set of Two and a Half Men. It had been rumored that CBS wants him back on the show, but they can not rehire him. Sheen worked for Warner Bros, and they are the only ones who could bring him back and they state that is not going to happen. Lorre has been talking to other actors as a possible replacement for Charlie's character but as of today no would on anyone being picked.

Corey Feldman was robbed while visiting backstage with some friends rock band Steel Panther and a rapper named Ditch at House of Blues in Hollywood, Feldman's studded leather jacket from the movie "Dream a Little Dream" was stolen. He laid the jacket on a table in the dressing room, and moments later it was gone. The establishment is currently looking at surveillance tapes to see of they can catch a thief.

Michael Vick's old high school has decided they will not rehang the NFL stars Jersey in the school this year despite a spirited student-initiated campaign. The jersey had been displayed in the school until the 2007 dogfighting incident. The school has stated they are worried about it being a "distraction to the student's education" and they are also concerned it could be stolen. This decision is not permanent and the school could change their minds in the future.
