Sir Paul McCartney has tied the knot for the third time with his new marriage to Nancy Shevell. McCartney started dating Shevell while his highly publicized divorce after six years of marriage was being settled with his second wife Heather Mills, a British model and activist. After announcing their engagement back in May, the couple exchanged vows at the Old Maryleborn Town Hall in London, England. This was also the same place McCartney married his first wife Linda, back in 1969. They were married until Linda passed away in 1998 from breast cancer.

It was a small affair, with only about 30 guests in attendance, such as fellow Beatles member Ringo Starr, who was also celebrating his birthday. Barbara Walters was also present, who happens to be a cousin of Nancy Shevell and is said to have introduced her to Paul McCartney. Shevell wore a simple and sublime wedding dress created by Paul's daughter Stella, a famous designer. Stella was known for her disapproval of her father's former wife Heather Mills, but she, along with her siblings, approve of McCartney's new love. Paul made time to perform a few of his classic songs, such as "All My Loving" dedicated to his new wife.
After the short 45 minute civil ceremony was over, the newlyweds stepped out to a crowd of adoring fans, where Paul gave his thanks for their support. McCartney and Shevell then left for a nearby home of Paul's in the St John's Wood neighbourhood, where a private reception was held. Rumors are that Paul and Nancy will spend their honeymoon in the Hamptons, New York. This is where Paul first met Nancy back in 2007.
