Wiz Khalifa Spends $3.4 Million On New Encino Mansion

Rapper Wiz Khalifa has found a new home in Encino, California, and by all accounts he appears to have gotten something of a bargain on it. It's been reported that he paid around $3.4 million on the house, which is an ultra-modern "smart house" equipped with all manner of security features in addition to its obvious style and luxury.

Those security features include a built-in alarm system along with four security cameras outside the house. It figures that Khalifa would place a high premium on home security after his house was reportedly broken into by thieves last year, but hopefully Khalifa won't find himself in need of the mini-mansion's elaborate security system as much as he will be able to enjoy its myriad amenities. The home's customized nine-foot pivot door opens to a floating staircase that's only the first special touch to be found inside.

A wine bar with room for up to 100 bottles complements the large, fully equipped kitchen. There are multiple fireplaces throughout the home (including one in the master suite), a home theater, and more spread out among its close to 6,000 square feet of total living space. Upstairs, there are multiple wraparound balconies, one of which is reached directly from the master bedroom. Then there's the outside, where you'll find an outdoor barbecue space with its own kitchen, a swimming pool (complete with separate pool house), and even an island with an included waterfall.

As realtor Ben Bacal Estates describes the home, it's a "[o]ne of a kind 2018 ultra-modern smart home just south of Ventura." If you'd like to get a closer look at the house but you're not on visiting terms with Wiz Khalifa, you can do so by checking it out in the video below:

Wiz will in fact be the first person to own the home, as it reportedly replaces a house from the 1950s that previously occupied the lot.
