Rockstar Energy Drink's Russell Weiner Is Selling His Hermosa Beach Home For $21 Million

Rockstar Energy Drink creator Russell Weiner has evidently reached the end of his journey with the Louie Tomaro-designed house found on the Hermosa Beach Strand. He bought the house some six years ago for $10 million, and now he's putting it up for sale at more than twice that, listing the contemporary home at $21 million.

How contemporary? Just some of the features found in the home include a private elevator (with five stops in all) and a home theater in the basement equipped with a 3D projector. And as the official real estate listing from South Bay Digs puts it, the house as it's being sold, now has no shortage of high tech accouterments: "New smart house upgrades which include touch panels on walls, cell booster, Wi-Fi upgrades, blackout shades and a house water filtration system."

Altogether the home features 6,200 square feet of space spread across six bedrooms, a balcony overlooking the Pacific ocean, and a rooftop deck with both a fireplace and spa. And it all sits on a "prime location" of the Hermosa Beach Strand, quiet and with "no volleyball courts directly in front."

And in an extremely valuable touch in what the Los Angeles Times calls a "parking-tight beach community," the house comes with a three-car garage as well as additional parking for guests.

If you're sick and tired of noisy beach volleyball games breaking out in your backyard while you're trying to catch an afternoon nap (and you've got a spare $20 million to drop on a new house), here's your chance. But even if you're just doing a little window shopping instead, you can take a look at the soon-to-be-former home of Rockstar Energy Drink founder Russell Weiner in the YouTube video below, which shows off all of the home's many plush features in a little over three minutes. Interestingly, this isn't the only house Weiner is currently putting on the market. He's also selling off a compound in Beverly Hills that once belonged to none other than Madonna, for $35 million.
