Mansion Once Owned By Sonny & Cher Sells for $90 Million

The new owner of a mansion once owned by Sonny and Cher is definitely singing 'I got you babe' right now. Of course, the buyer, an affiliate of Woodbridge Luxury Homes, intends to upgrade the home and sell it for a premium above the $90 million they paid for it. One must wonder if the house is so great, or do the previous owners make it such a hot commodity? Either way, you can bet they will add any bells and whistles the luxury property may be missing – although it is hard to imagine how it could be improved.

The Owlwood estate, known for its stately presence and valuable 10 acres in Holmby Hills in Los Angeles, California, offers roughly 12,200 square feet of entertainment nirvana and is an Italian Renaissance-style mansion with nine bedrooms, according to Stephen Kotler, chief revenue officer at Douglas Elliman.

This entrance may just top any other made my the dynamic duo themselves. The only question that remains is: Do you have enough in the household budget to cover the cost of all of that wood polish?

No matter how hard the day may have been, who wouldn't be able to unwind and relax in a master bedroom fit for a king or a queen – maybe even both?

And let's face it, any person successful enough to snatch up this incredible palace will need a place to think about how to make their next move… who couldn't think clearly in this soothing parlor?

The gated estate also includes two guest houses, a 70-foot-long swimming pool, two gatehouses and a sunken tennis court with changing rooms.

Because, of course, anyone with the means to live here has lots and lots of friends to entertain.
