So you're a super duper famous music star who's about to get hitched. Everyone and their uncle has been following your wedding plans like starving hawks. You look at a pink cake, it's front page news. You consider red roses, it goes up on billboards. You mention the name of a guest, casually, it's in the next issue of every entertainment magazine. In other words, you'd be Kelly Clarkson, who, for the last few months, has had her wedding plans scrutinized, analyzed, and discussed ad nauseam, by every "style" reporter on the planet. Which is probably why she ended up basically eloping last week, and married her now husband, Brandon Blackstock, in a quiet, personal, sparsely attended, and very private ceremony. The singing star who started the entire "American Idol" machine back when she won Season 1 of the long-running reality series, Kelly Clarkson has managed to sustain a successful music career for the last decade. With hit songs like, "A Moment Like This", "Miss Independent", "Since U Been Gone", "Mr. Know It All", and "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)"; three Grammy Awards; and 20 million albums sold worldwide, she has done quite well for herself. She recently poured some of her energy, and her millions, into a brand new home.
Kelly Clarkson's house is 17,000 square feet spread out over seven bedrooms and nine and a half bathrooms. The opulent property sits on 4 acres of land in Tennessee. In addition to the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, Kelly Clarkson's house also features hardwood floors, an elevator, winding staircases, multiple fireplaces, a wine room, and a large eat-in kitchen. There is also a large terrace in back of Kelly Clarkson's house, facing the nearby lake, plus a home theater, and a private gym. She purchased the home for $2.8 million last year, but the newly married couple is just now taking possession of it. Hopefully their time in it will be as successful as her music career.
