David Hyde Pierce's House: Successful in Every Way – Including House Flipping

David Hyde Pierce originally planned to be a concert pianist.  He was even accepted to Yale University's music program.  However, the lure of acting drew him away from the practice room, and he subsequently graduated with degrees in English and Theatre Arts.  This proved to be a wise decision on his part.  He went on to win four Emmy Awards for his work on the hit sitcom, "Frasier", and he was nominated a record eleven consecutive times.  He has appeared on Broadway multiple times, and won a Tony Award for his work in "Curtains".  He has also enjoyed a very successful voiceover career, voicing characters in such projects as "A Bug's Life", "Tangerine Bear", "Osmosis Jones", "Treasure Planet", "Hellboy", "The Simpsons", and "The Amazing Screw-On Head".    His film work has been consistently well reviewed, and he recently garnered his first starring role on film, in the very twisted dark comedy, "The Perfect Host".  With all of his success, it seems fitting that he would choose to sell the home he purchased back in 2003.  He placed his Los Feliz property on the market in April, and it sold a very quick four months later.

David Hyde Pierce's house sold for $7,050,000 in July.  Not too shabby for a home that was purchased in 2003 for only $3,625,000.  David Hyde Pierce's house is 8,184 square feet and contains seven bedrooms and eight and a half bathrooms.  The entire home is surrounded by a gate, and features a stunning backyard terrace with a pool, and a covered second floor balcony.  The interior of the home includes multiple fireplaces, high ceilings, Spanish tile, hardwood floors, and a stunning winding staircase.  Looking at the photos, it's no wonder that David Hyde Pierce's house sold for almost double its original price.  The only question is how he purchased it for so little nine years ago.
