Christopher Lloyd Lists Stunning Santa Barbara Mansion For $6.4 Million

Christopher Lloyd just listed his absolutely stunning home in Santa Barbara for $6.4 million. It's my dream home. Love the style. Love the layout. It could use a pool… and maybe some solar panels to produce a couple of gigawatts off those toasty Santa Barbara days, but otherwise it's perfect.

Christopher bought the home in 2017 for $2.5 million and proceeded to perform a massive renovation to produce the beauty you see today. Video tour below:

If I can pull the curtain back for a minute, one of my favorite things to do as the owner/operator of CelebrityNetWorth is to hunt down the real estate listing of a recently listed celebrity home. In almost every case, the MLS description of a celebrity home is very coy and private about the celebrity owner's identity. Typically, there's no reference to the celebrity at all, or sometimes MAYBE at most it will say something like "A celebrity-owned home in one of the best neighborhoods blah blah blah…"

Here's the first line of the MLS description of Christopher Lloyd's house:

"Modern Hilltop Retreat with Iconic Views — Owned by Christopher Lloyd."

🙂

"Resting above Montecito on a private, gated knoll, this sleek contemporary home owned by legendary actor Christopher Lloyd boasts panoramic views of the Pacific, Channel Islands, and Santa Barbara harbor. Recently remodeled with clean lines and a modern aesthetic, the 2-bed, 2-bath main residence offers seamless indoor-outdoor living, with floor-to-ceiling glass framing every sunset. Expansive decks invite cocktails or quiet mornings above the clouds.

A detached 1-bed guest retreat with living room/office provides stylish space for visitors or creative work. Timeless design meets cinematic views, delivering sophistication, privacy, and world-class beauty."

And then, because they just could not resist, here's the last line:

"Great Scott—Your future starts here!"

BTW, I just learned that Christopher Lloyd was 46 when he filmed "Back to the Future," a movie in which he plays an old, crazy scientist. I am not terribly far from being 46, so that was a bit of a blow.
