The House Elon Musk Left His Ex In Their Divorce Is On The Market For $4.5 Million

In October of 2016, when the divorce between Tesla and SpaceX billionaire Elon Musk and ex-wife Talulah Riley was finalized, she ended up with a pretty cool house in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles, a home the pair purchased together in 2014 for about $3.69 million. Now, the home is being put up for sale by Riley at $4.5 million.

Here's part of how Hilton & Hyland, the real estate company handling the sale, describes the property:

"This sleek, stylish and updated 4 bed, 4 bath mid-century boasting stunning ocean, city and canyon views is a Brentwood gem that is not to be missed. Floor-to-ceiling windows and sliders frame the private rear yard which is ideal for relaxing and entertaining with ample patio areas and large saltwater pool & spa."

The house also comes with a few high-tech features befitting its former status as one of Musk's LA homes, like a fully integrated security system, a built-in sound system, and automatic shades. And just speaking visually, it definitely has a sleek, futuristic look that makes sense for someone with Musk's reputation and notoriety.

The house is reportedly just one of many that Musk owns or has owned in the Los Angeles area, so don't feel bad for him just because his ex-wife is getting rid of this one. One of them, a Bel-Air mansion which he was reported to have purchased in 2016 (the same year the divorce was finalized), cost him some $24.25 million, making this house seem like a starter home by comparison.

Musk and Riley were first married in 2010.
