Jeff Bezos, at 53, is the richest person in the world. He has been married for 24 years to 47-year-old novelist Mackenzie Bezos. The couple met when they both worked for an investment banking firm. A year after the met, they quit their jobs and drove cross country from New York City to Seattle to found Amazon.

Bill and Melinda Gates

Combined net worth: $90 billion

Bill and Melinda Gates have been married for 23 years and have three children. The 62-year-old founder of Microsoft and his 53-year-old wife are also co-founders (alongside Warren Buffett) of The Giving Pledge, and as such they have vowed to give most of their incredible fortune away. The couple founded the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in 2000. The foundation is focused on improving global health.
