Ellen Makes Bill Gates Guess The Price Of Basic Super Market Items… And It's Kind Of Hilarious

At this exact moment, Bill Gates has a net worth of $90 billion. That makes him the second-richest person in the world, behind Jeff Bezos, who is worth $123 billion. But as you may know, Bill has been the richest person on the planet for the better part of the last 20 years. He's been a billionaire for over 30 years. And when you've been THAT rich for THAT long, you naturally start to lose touch with some normal things that regular people experience every day. For example, grocery shopping. According to Bill himself, he has not been in a grocery store for a long, long time. Why would he be? And can you imagine how strange it would be to bump into Bill Gates in the aisle of your local Safeway/Kroger/Ralphs/Publix, cart-in-hand grabbing soup cans and cereal boxes?

Ellen DeGeneres figured Bill might not be totally up to date on modern grocery shopping. So when he appeared on her show recently, Ellen came up with a fun little game: Can Bill Gates guess the price of basic super market items… within a dollar?

Check the clip out below. It's pretty hilarious:
