What is Samantha Fox's Net Worth?
Samantha Fox is an English singer and former topless model who has a net worth of $20 million. A prominent Page 3 model and one of the most photographed British women in the 1980s, Samantha Fox broke into the music industry with her hit debut single "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)," released in 1986. She has also appeared on some television shows over the years, notably as a contestant on "I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!" and "Celebrity Big Brother."
Early Life and Education
Samantha Fox was born on April 15, 1966 in London, England as the eldest child of Carole, an actress and former dancer, and John, a builder. Interested in theater at an early age, she attended the Anna Scher Theatre School and Mountview Theatre School. Fox also went to St Thomas More Catholic School.
Modeling Career
When Fox was 16 years old, her mother took photos of her wearing lingerie and submitted them for an amateur modeling contest held by the Sunday People tabloid. She ended up coming in second place, and was subsequently invited by a photographer for The Sun to pose topless for Page 3. This made Fox the youngest person ever to model topless for the Page 3 feature. She went on to sign a four-year modeling contract with The Sun, and was named Page 3 Girl of the Year in 1984, 1985, and 1986. Fox also modeled for various men's magazines. Although she left the career behind in 1986 to focus on her singing career, she did some occasional modeling afterwards, including a nude Playboy pictorial in 1996.
Singing Career
Fox formed her first pop group at the age of 14 and signed her first record deal, with Lamborghini Records, when she was 15. She had her breakthrough as a singer in 1986 when she was invited to an open audition by Jive Records to record the song "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)." The song became a massive hit for Fox, reaching number three in the United Kingdom and number four in the United States and topping the charts in several countries. Fox had another solid hit with her second single, "Do Ya Do Ya (Wanna Please Me)." Both songs were included on her debut album, "Touch Me," which charted throughout Europe in 1986. Fox released her self-titled second album in 1987; it spawned the hit singles 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Me Now" and "Naughty Girls (Need Love Too)." In late 1988, she released her third album, "I Wanna Have Some Fun," which featured the hit title track and "I Only Wanna Be With You."
Fox was unable to continue her commercial success as a singer in the 1990s. Her fourth album, "Just One Night," failed to yield any hit singles upon its release in 1991, and the same thing occurred with her fifth album, "21st Century Fox," released in 1997. Fox's sixth studio album, "Angel with an Attitude," was another commercial disappointment upon its release in 2005. She went on to release a greatest hits album in late 2009, and in 2012 her first four albums were remastered and reissued as double deluxe discs. In 2022, Fox announced that she was working on a new studio album produced by Ian Masterson. The same year, she lent her vocals to the song "Tomorrow" by the Swedish band Nestor. In 2023, Fox toured the US with the groups Bad Boys Blue and Boney M.

Television and Film
Fox has made many appearances on television over the years. In 1990, she had a guest role as a fictional rock star on the American sitcom "Charles in Charge." Fox became involved with reality television in the 21st century, competing on the ninth season of "I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!" in 2009 and the 18th season of "Celebrity Big Brother" in 2016. She also appeared in episodes of "Celebrity Wife Swap," "Come Dine with Me," and "Celebrity MasterChef." As an actress, she was in the 1999 film "The Match" and the 2017 television film "Sharknado 5: Global Swarming."
Legal Problems
In the 1990s, Fox discovered that her father, who had been physically abusive to her, had embezzled over £1 million from her accounts and moved it to offshore banks without paying any taxes on the earnings. She sued him and was awarded £363,000 in a court settlement.
In late 2023, Fox was arrested by police officers at Heathrow Airport after her behavior stopped the departure of a British Airways flight. She later pleaded guilty to charges of drunk and disorderly conduct and threatening behavior toward the police. Fox was sentenced to 12 months of community service and issued multiple fines.
Personal Life
Fox dated many men early in her career, including Australian career criminal Peter Foster, Spanish bullfighter Rafi Camino, and American musician Paul Stanley. In 1999, people began speculating about her sexuality after she judged a lesbian beauty pageant and was rumored to be living with her musical collaborator Cris Bonacci. Fox came out as lesbian in 2003 and revealed that she was dating her manager Myra Stratton. Following Stratton's passing in 2015, Fox began a relationship with her Norwegian tour manager Linda Birgitte Olsen. The pair married in 2022.
