In a scathing Twitter Spaces stream over the weekend, Cardi B went scorched earth on her ex, Migos rapper Offset. In the stream, Cardi alleged that Offset has left her to shoulder the full financial burden of raising their three children. And she didn't just vaguely call him out… she gave a detailed breakdown of her $60,000+ monthly childcare and education expenses, which she claims Offset hasn't paid "a single dollar" toward since their 2024 split.
Cardi and Offset, who married in 2017 and share three children (Kulture, 6; Wave, 3; and Blossom, 8 months), have had a tumultuous relationship marked by multiple separations. Their latest divorce filing came in July 2024, and Cardi says that since then, she has been solely responsible for covering what she describes as an extravagant monthly tab.
Cardi B's $60K+ Monthly Childcare Breakdown
During her livestream, Cardi offered a detailed glimpse into the high-cost world of raising three children as a celebrity. The numbers quickly added up:
- Full-time driver for the kids: $10,000 per month retainer
- Babysitter for Kulture and Wave: $3,000 per week × 4.33 weeks = $13,000 per month
- Full-time nanny for baby Blossom: $500 per day × 30 days = $15,000 per month
- Kulture's private school tuition: $45,000 per year = $3,750 per month
- Wave's private school tuition: $35,000 per year = $2,916 per month
- Tutoring sessions (4 times per week): $250 per hour × 4 sessions per week × 4.33 weeks = $4,330 per month
- Piano lessons for Kulture (3 times per week): $300 per hour × 3 sessions per week × 4.33 weeks = $3,897 per month
- Personal chef for the kids (7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily): Estimated at $9,000 per month
Estimated monthly total: $61,893
And that does not even include extracurriculars like gymnastics or boxing classes, which Cardi says she also pays for.

"You Want Spousal Support So Bad"
Adding fuel to the fire, Cardi claimed Offset has barely seen their youngest child, Blossom, since her birth and accused him of pursuing spousal support while contributing nothing toward child-related expenses.
"Have I asked you for anything? You want spousal support so bad… and this isn't even including food."
Offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, has not responded publicly to Cardi's accusations. The couple previously filed for divorce in 2020 but reconciled. This time, Cardi appears to be drawing a firmer line. She has petitioned the court for full custody of their children and says she has offered Offset opportunities to visit them in her home, opportunities he allegedly declined.
"I want my daughter to feel the love of her dad," Cardi said. "He hasn't seen his kids since March."
Cardi's New Chapter with Stefon Diggs
Cardi's attack also comes amid her newly public relationship with NFL star Stefon Diggs, who recently joined the New England Patriots. She went Instagram official with Diggs in May, adding another high-profile layer to the ongoing saga.
Whether Offset will address the accusations remains to be seen, but Cardi is making it clear that, for now, she is covering everything herself.
