What is Joseline Hernandez's net worth?

Joseline Hernandez is a Puerto Rican-American reality television personality, rapper, stripper, and actress who has a net worth of $400 thousand. Joseline Hernandez, known as "The Puerto Rican Princess," gained fame on VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" (2012–2017). Her tumultuous relationship with producer Stevie J became a central storyline, leading to the birth of their daughter, Bonnie Bella, in 2016.

After departing the show, Hernandez launched "Joseline's Cabaret" on Zeus Network in 2020, a series she created and executive produced. The show, which has filmed in cities like Miami, Atlanta, Las Vegas, New York, and Houston, follows her efforts to mentor dancers and build a cabaret empire.

Beyond reality TV, Hernandez has pursued music, releasing singles such as "Run Me My Money" and "Live Your Best Life," and appeared in scripted series like "Star" and "P-Valley." She has also participated in shows like "Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition" and "College Hill: Celebrity Edition."

Despite facing legal issues, including a 2023 arrest, Hernandez remains a prominent figure in entertainment, known for her resilience and ability to reinvent herself.

Early Life

Joseline Hernandez was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on November 3, 1986. When she was six, she moved to Florida with her mother, Carmen, stepfather Luis, and her five siblings. Her biological father died from a heroin overdose before the family's move to Florida. When she was 16, Hernandez started stripping under the name Sheneliica Bettencourt so that she could support her poverty-stricken family and make sure her younger siblings had everything they needed.

Career

Joseline Hernandez was discovered by music producer Stevie J while working as a stripper at the Onyx Club in Atlanta. In 2012, she joined the original cast of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" as Stevie J's new artist—and soon, his romantic partner. Their love triangle with Stevie's longtime girlfriend Mimi Faust became the central storyline of the show's early seasons. Hernandez remained a key cast member for six seasons, helping make "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" one of VH1's highest-rated programs.

While on the show, she released several dancehall- and reggaeton-influenced singles and starred alongside Stevie J in the 2016 spinoff series "Stevie J & Joseline: Go Hollywood." In 2017, she appeared in her own television special, "Joseline's Special Delivery," which documented the birth of her daughter. That same year, during the taping of the season six reunion, Hernandez quit the show amid tensions with creator Mona Scott-Young and the producers.

In 2018, Hernandez began filming "Joseline Takes Miami," but the show was shelved following reported production issues. She pivoted instead to creating her own reality franchise. In 2019, she signed a deal with Zeus Network to star in and executive produce "Joseline's Cabaret." The series debuted in 2020 and has since spawned multiple seasons set in Miami, Atlanta, Las Vegas, New York, and Houston.

Hernandez returned briefly to VH1 in 2020 to join the cast of "Love & Hip Hop: Miami." She also appeared on "Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition" with her fiancé, music producer Balistic Beats. In 2023, she was arrested in Florida following a backstage altercation during a boxing event, further fueling her reputation as one of reality TV's most controversial stars.

Personal Life

Joseline Hernandez is bisexual. She has said that she likes men and women equally and that she does not have a stronger preference one way or another.

Hernandez and Stevie J claimed to have gotten married in 2013. However, three years later, Stevie J admitted that their marriage was faked for publicity. Later that same year, Joseline confirmed they were in a long-term relationship but never legally married. Their breakup was featured on the fifth season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.

During the filming of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta's fifth season reunion, Hernandez revealed she was pregnant with Stevie's sixth child. She gave birth to their daughter Bonnie Bella on December 28, 2016. Joseline and Stevie J have been embroiled in an ongoing custody dispute over their daughter Bonnie Bella.

In May of 2019, Stevie J alleged that Joseline hadn't allowed him to see or contact his daughter in over a month. He also mentioned in the legal filing that he feared for his daughter's safety and overall well-being. Stevie J suggested that Joseline was unfit to be a parent, and said that he is more financially stable and that his family with singer Faith Evans would be a better influence for his young daughter. He also demanded that Joseline pay child support. For what it's worth, before the custody drama, Joseline commented on social media that Stevie barely showed any interest in their child. The whole situation heated up in late July 2019 when Stevie J was scheduled to take custody of his daughter from July 28 to August 11. But when Stevie tried to get her in Miami, Joseline flew off to Los Angeles with Bonnie Bella. A warrant for Joseline's arrest was issued until she agreed to turn the child over to her father. Joseline flew back to Miami with her daughter, and Bonnie Bella was given to Stevie's adult daughter. Stevie J was granted sole custody until their next court date on August 15, 2019.

In November 2019, Stevie J was granted primary custody of Bonnie Bella. Joseline was given visitation rights. The courts also ruled that Stevie J no longer had to pay her child support. Joseline learned this news while on Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition. She had an onscreen breakdown and commented that she felt like her life was falling apart. Fortunately, this was a short-lived arrangement, and Joseline was given temporary custody so that Bonnie Bella could continue attending school in her mom's home state of Florida. This arrangement, which still exempted Stevie J from child support, remained in effect until February 2020. As of this writing, the former couple is still battling it out in court.

Hernandez went public with her relationship with music producer Robin Ingouma, known professionally as Ballistic Beats, in April 2018. In 2020, Hernandez and Beats got engaged. Hernandez and Beats are scheduled to marry on December 25, 2020.

Real Estate

In 2019, Hernandez was sued by the posh Miami apartment complex she rents for unpaid rent. Landlord Beach Place Apartments sued the reality star for $2,056 a month in rent she failed to pay on her two-bedroom apartment. Beach Place Apartments said that it left a notice demanding the rent from her outside the apartment door, but she never paid up. She owed $2,375 as well as her landlord's lawyer fees. It was reported that Hernandez's landlord dropped their lawsuit against the reality star. Hernandez had yet to respond to the lawsuit in court when her landlords decided to drop the case.
