What is Bol Bol's Net Worth?
Bol Bol is a South Sudanese-American professional basketball player who has a net worth of $5 million. The son of legendary super-tall NBA player Manute Bol, Bol Bol made his NBA debut in the 2019-20 season with the Denver Nuggets. He went on to play for the Orlando Magic and Phoenix Suns.
Early Life
Bol Bol was born on November 16, 1999 in Khartoum, Sudan as the second of 11 children of Ajok Kuag and former NBA star Manute Bol, who was one of the two tallest players in NBA history. Prohibited by the Sudanese government from immigrating to the United States amid the Second Sudanese Civil War, the family fled to Cairo, Egypt in 2001. The next year, the family made it to the US and settled in Connecticut as designated political refugees. When he was seven, Bol moved with his family to Olathe, Kansas, which is noted for having a large South Sudanese population.
High School Career
Bol began high school at Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park, Kansas, where he played on the junior varsity team. However, he had to transfer midway through his freshman year due to not living in the school's district. Bol continued playing junior varsity basketball, and eventually varsity, at Bishop Miege High School in Roeland Park, Kansas. As a sophomore in the 2015-16 season, he was ranked among the top players of his class and helped Bishop Miege win the Kansas Class 4A Division I state title. For his junior year, Bol transferred to Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. That season, he averaged 16.5 points and 8.6 rebounds per game as Mater Dei finished second in the California Interscholastic Federation. Bol transferred schools again in late 2017, this time to Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nevada. He finished his high school career there with 20.4 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.

Collegiate Career
Having received numerous scholarship offers, including from Kansas, Kentucky, Oregon, Arizona, and UCLA, Bol committed to Oregon for college. However, he only ended up playing one season with the Oregon Ducks before he declared for the NBA draft. Bol's season highlight was 32 points and 11 rebounds in a narrow loss to the Texas Southern Tigers in late 2018.
Denver Nuggets
In the 2019 NBA draft, Bol was chosen by the Miami Heat with the 44th overall pick. He was quickly traded to the Denver Nuggets, with which he signed a two-way contract so he could also play for the NBA G League's Windy City Bulls. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bol didn't make his debut with the Nuggets until August 1, 2020 in the NBA Bubble. He helped lead the team to the playoffs, where they were eliminated in the Western Conference Finals by the Los Angeles Lakers. The Nuggets returned to the playoffs in 2021, this time falling to the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference Semifinals. In early 2022, Bol was traded to the Detroit Pistons, but the trade was nullified after he failed his fitness exam. He subsequently underwent surgery on his foot.
Orlando Magic
The day after his foot surgery, Bol was traded to the Boston Celtics. However, before playing in any games with the team, he was traded to the Orlando Magic the next month. Bol re-signed with the Magic for the 2022-23 season, which became his best career season to date as he averaged career highs of 9.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game in a career-high 70 games. After that season, he was waived by the Magic.
Phoenix Suns
Bol signed a one-year deal with the Phoenix Suns in the summer of 2023. That season, he averaged 5.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game in 43 games, and helped the Suns reach the playoffs. The team ultimately fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round. Bol re-signed with the Suns after the season. In his second season with the team, he averaged 6.8 points and 2.9 rebounds per game in 36 games.
