Early Life and Education
Holly Taylor was born on Halloween in 1997 in Middleton, Nova Scotia, Canada. She grew up in Wayne, New Jersey from the age of two, and attended Wayne Hills High School as a teenager. After graduating from high school in 2016, Taylor studied graphic design at Kean University, earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2021.

Billy Elliot: The Musical
At the age of 11, Taylor made her Broadway debut as a replacement in "Billy Elliot: The Musical," which had just premiered in the United States. In the show, based on the film of the same name, she played the ballet girl Sharon Percy. Taylor continued in the role for almost two years, appearing in around eight shows a week.
Television Career
Following her time in "Billy Elliot: The Musical," Taylor began looking for more acting opportunities. Turning to television, she auditioned for the FX period spy drama series "The Americans" and landed the main role of Paige Jennings, the daughter of Keri Russell's and Matthew Rhys's protagonists. "The Americans" was a major critical success, running for six seasons from 2013 to 2018 and earning a plethora of awards. With her cast mates, Taylor shared a SAG Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. After "The Americans" ended, Taylor had guest roles on the ABC medical drama "The Good Doctor" and the CBS legal drama "Bull."
In 2019, Taylor appeared in an episode of Dolly Parton's Netflix anthology series "Heartstrings," and starred on the short-lived supernatural horror series "The Unsettling," also on Netflix. She landed her next main role in 2021, on the third season of the NBC supernatural drama series "Manifest." Taylor played Angelina Meyer, a passenger on the disappeared Flight 828 who is held captive by her religious fundamentalist parents upon her return, and slowly descends into madness. She returned for the fourth and final season of "Manifest," which was released on Netflix in two parts in 2022 and 2023.

Film Career
Taylor had her first credited film role in 2014, as Little Girl in the comedy "Worst Friends." She had her first starring role four years later, playing Claire in the supernatural drama "The Witch Files." Her co-stars were Alice Ziolkoski and Tara Robinson. Taylor next appeared in the 2020 horror thriller "We Still Say Grace," playing one of two daughters in a fanatic religious household. She starred alongside Rita Volk, who played her sister, and Bruce Davison and Arianne Zucker, who played her parents.
