What Is Princess Eugenie's Net Worth?
Princess Eugenie is a member of the British royal family who has a net worth of $1 million. Princess Eugenie is the daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York, AKA Fergie. Princess Eugenie is twelfth in the line of succession to the British throne. She is the second child of her parents and the sixth grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Princes William and Harry are her first cousins. King Charles is his uncle.
In 2017, Eugenie became the director of London's Hauser & Wirth art gallery. Her official title since 1990 is Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie of York. In 2022, she wrote an article for The Spectator titled "I hope my son will inherit the Queen's kindness."
Early Life and Family
Princess Eugenie of York was born on March 23, 1990, in London, England. Her birth took place at Portland Hospital, and her mother had a C-section. Her parents are Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York, who divorced in 1996. Eugenie has one sibling, older sister Beatrice, and their parents agreed to joint custody after their divorce.
Queen Elizabeth II gave Andrew and Sarah £1.4 million after the divorce to set up a trust fund for their daughters. In December 1990, Eugenie was baptized at St Mary Magdalene Church, Sandringham, as Eugenie Victoria Helena. She was the first royal baby who had a public christening and the only one of Queen Elizabeth II's grandchildren who wasn't baptized in the Lily Font. When Eugenie was 12 years old, she underwent back surgery to correct scoliosis, and two titanium rods were inserted in her back.
In 2022, her father resigned from public roles due to criticism about his involvement with sex traffickers Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, and the Queen later removed his royal charitable patronages and honorary military affiliations.
Education and Career
From 1992 to 1993, Eugenie attended Winkfield Montessori School, then she joined Beatrice at Windsor's Upton House until 1995. Next, she studied at Coworth Park School until 2001 and then at St George's School until 2003. Eugenie then spent five years boarding at Wiltshire's Marlborough College, where she finished three A-levels and earned 'A' grades in English and Art and a 'B' grade in History of Art. She took a gap year before she enrolled at Newcastle University in 2009, and she earned a 2:1 degree in Art History and English Literature in 2012. Eugenie moved to New York City in 2013 to work at the online auction house Paddle8 as a benefit auctions manager. She returned to London in July 2015 and joined Hauser & Wirth, a contemporary art gallery, as an associate director. Two years later, she was promoted to director. In the documentary "Beatrice and Eugenie: Pampered Princesses," Richard Kay, a royal commentator, revealed that Eugenie had taxpayer-funded security when she traveled internationally during her gap year. Her security reportedly cost more than £100,000. In 2022, it was reported that her taxpayer-funded police security had been taken away in 2011 due to concerns over the high cost of security for non-working royals. Charles III, who was then the Prince of Wales, felt that the £100,000 it cost to provide security for Eugenie during her gap year was excessive. In 2023, Eugenie became a member of the Goals House, a "diverse community of business and political leaders, activists, academics, philanthropist, NGOs, and entrepreneurs who come together at significant global moments throughout the year."

Personal Life
On January 22, 2018, the Duke of York's Office at Buckingham Palace announced that Princess Eugenie had become engaged to Jack Brooksbank. Eugenie and Jack had been in a relationship for seven years at that point, and they got engaged during a vacation in Nicaragua. The couple moved to Ivy Cottage at Kensington Palace from St James's Palace in April 2018. Eugenie and Jack married on October 12, 2018, at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, and her wedding gown was designed to show the scar that resulted from her scoliosis surgery. In an interview with ITV's "This Morning," Eugenie stated, "It's a lovely way to honour the people who looked after me and a way of standing up for young people who also go through this. I think you can change the way beauty is, and you can show people your scars and I think it's really special to stand up for that."
Eugenie and Jack have welcomed two sons together: August Philip Hawke Brooksbank (born February 9, 2021) and Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank (born May 30, 2023). August is named after Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (his great-grandfather) and his five-times great-grandfathers Prince Albert and Reverend Edward Hawke Brooksbank, whose given names included the name "Augustus." Ernest is named after George V (his great-great-great-grandfather), whose given name was George Frederick Ernest Albert, as well as George Brooksbank (his grandfather) and Major Ronald Ferguson (his great-grandfather). From the fall of 2020 to the spring of 2022, the family lived at Frogmore Cottage, which was leased to Prince Harry, Eugenie's cousin. In May 2022, they moved to Portugal, where Brooksbank works for Discovery Land Company founder Michael Meldman.
Philanthropy
In 2008, Eugenie opened a Leeds unit of the Teenage Cancer Trust, and she and her sister, Beatrice, became patrons of the charity in 2016. In 2011, she and her father visited the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH), and she became a patron of RNOH's Redevelopment Appeal in 2012 and re-opened its children's unit in 2014. That year Eugenie also collaborated with Daisy London Jewellery on a limited edition bracelet to benefit the hospital's Appeal. In 2019, she became a patron of the RNOH Charity, and she was also named a patron of the charity Horatio's Garden, which creates gardens for patients in National Health Service (NHS) spinal injury centres. In 2013, Eugenie, Beatrice, and their mother collaborated on a painting, "Royal Love," with contemporary artist Teddy McDonald, and proceeds from the sale of the painting were donated to the charity Children in Crisis. In 2017, Eugenie was appointed an ambassador for the Artemis Council of the New Museum, an initiative that focused on female artists. She is the co-founder and director of the charity the Anti-Slavery Collective, whose mission is to "work with policy makers, law enforcement agencies, journalists, academics, NGOs, companies, individuals, and survivors to collaboratively develop solutions to fight modern day slavery and human trafficking."
