The festivities culminated on June 27 with a black-tie ceremony on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, where the couple exchanged vows against a backdrop of Renaissance architecture and sweeping lagoon views.

The ceremony was filled with romance. Matteo Bocelli performed a moving rendition of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love," while Lauren's sons, Nikko and Evan, escorted her down the aisle. In November of 2021, it was reported that Bezos and Sánchez had purchased a "sprawling" manor in Hawaii together.
